Annually attracting more than a million visitors from all over the world, the Iowa State Fair is the single largest event in Iowa. Join Marketing Director Mindy Williamson and Graphics and Website Coordinator Rachel Moylan, as they discuss this summertime classic.
With a foundation in agriculture and a history rich in family fun, they will show you a glimpse of the beginning, but more importantly, they will focus on the theme, the look, the basis, and the outreach planned for this year’s Fair.
In 1881, historian James Wilson wrote, “One of the most valuable effects of the State Fair is the fraternizing, humanizing consequences of bringing our people together…” Still relevant today, we say, Nothing Compares to MY Iowa State Fair. What is your Iowa State Fair Story?
